Proudly Presenting Our Available Horses
(scroll down to see all available horses)
In addition to raising Missouri Foxtrotter Horses and Ponies we occasionally offer carefully selected horses ideal for trail and family. Our program is based on a love of making horses into best friends. We enjoy raising young horses and bringing them to their best potential. We include our horses in our daily life, and horses are exposed to life with our dogs, children, vehicles etc. We trailer them off to local trails and events. We then focus on giving them a wide variety of trail experiences and take them on adventures all over which often includes obstacle training, jumping, roping, etc. We are excited to be able to share some of these horses with other families. We can't possibly keep them all, and we love working with new horses. Our passion is matchmaking horses with their human dance partners.

RO’s Pep Dunit barn name “Starlight” is what everyone is looking for. He is a well-bred registered Quarter Horse gelding, the perfect size at 15 hands, and a mature 4-year-old. He is sweet, gentle, quiet, and trustworthy; he is a joy to own and love. And of course, with his stunning golden coat and perfect white star, he is just plain gorgeous. He has a super smooth trot and a rocking chair canter.
Starlight is a horse anyone can ride. I have enjoyed him as my personal riding horse. We have also used him for beginners of all ages, guests of all sizes, children’s pony rides, and lead lining off other horses. He was one of the few horses I trusted to ride while I was pregnant. I always knew I was safe on him. I used him as my lead horse for guided trail rides, and he is happy for you to lead other horses off of him. He doesn’t mind if a child’s pony wraps a rope under his tail and understands how to pull with the saddle horn if needed. He will ride English, Western, or bareback. He neck reins, and I have even ridden him bridleless as he will happily work off your seat and leg cues.
Starlight has participated in Christmas parades without a second thought, handling cop cars with their lights on, horses, and people everywhere. We have enjoyed taking him over small jumps and logs. He is accustomed to riding out with our pack of dogs, jumping in and out of the brush along with the occasional deer or turkey. He will happily cross bridges, climb more technical trails, or stroll along the side of the road. He is traffic safe. He enjoys playing on our obstacle course, which includes a teeter totter, tire drag, and curtain obstacles.
Starlight loves water. Whether crossing creeks while trail riding or going to the pond, he is always happy to play in water and loves a good swim. He is also accustomed to tarps, balls, and bicycles.
Starlight has been in our program for several years. He has been a pleasure to own and will be dearly missed. He is very accustomed to children, gets along well with all other horses, and can live stalled or out in the pasture 24/7. He is healthy, low maintenance, and greets you at the gate. He is barefoot, excellent for the farrier, easy to trailer, and will stand tied as long as you wish.
